At the Forestry Hub, our goal is to promote the implementation of resilient landscapes that are alive, productive, and prepared to face the impacts of climate change. Active management of forests and agroforestry landscapes reduces wildfire risk, enhances biodiversity, and increases natural and long‑lasting CO₂ sequestration.
From this transformative perspective, we support the implementation of sustainable productive uses: from wood to essential oils, from truffles to mushrooms. We connect each resource with a viable value chain, backed by the scientific rigour of the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC) and the pioneering infrastructures of the Forestry Hub, where science is put at the service of the territory.
