At the Forestry Hub, we drive the development of innovative and sustainable products based on forest biomass. We collaborate with companies, public administrations, and professionals to identify opportunities and turn them into viable bioproducts, from the initial idea to pre‑industrial validation.
We combine scientific knowledge, technological validation, and market insight to create high‑value proposals that strengthen the bioeconomy and support active landscape management.

Sustainable construction wood
We participate in designing structural wood products from local wood and promote short supply chains, traceability, and quality label.
Truffle and pine nut valorisation
We develop new formats and applications for the agri‑food and forest gastronomy sectors, and contribute to the adoption of these products as profitable forest crops.
Biorefineries and bioactive ingredients
We produce extracts for cosmetics, health, food, textiles, and adhesives using local plant species. We test their functional properties and optimise production processes.
Zero‑footprint by‑products
We transform forest residues into biofuels and other technical uses through efficient processes that apply the carbon cascade principle, prioritising material uses over energy uses within circular bioeconomy models.
